Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our carpet and upholstery cleaning services.

Booking & Pricing

Can you give me a quote over the phone?
Yes — there's no need for us to visit your home for a quote. Just call us on 0203 322 2389 and we'll give you a fixed price over the phone. Commercial properties may require a site visit for larger jobs.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
We aim to get you an appointment within 24 hours of contacting us. In many cases we can offer same-day or next-day availability. Call us on 0203 322 2389 to check current availability.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, cash and bank transfer. Payment is due on completion of the work. The price quoted is the price you pay — there are no hidden charges.

During & After Cleaning

What is the estimated drying time?
Cleaning leaves your carpets or upholstery slightly damp and they dry naturally during the course of the day — typically 3–6 hours. Our high-powered machines extract most of the moisture at pressure, so drying times are shorter than traditional methods.
Can steam cleaning damage my carpet?
No. Hot water extraction (steam cleaning) is considered the best method for removing embedded soil and contaminants from carpets. It is the preferred cleaning method recommended by all leading carpet manufacturers.
What should I do about furniture in the room?
Our cleaners will happily move any furniture that doesn't require more than one person. We'd kindly ask you to remove small objects and breakables before the cleaner arrives. Items of sentimental or high monetary value should be stored safely.

Stains & Odours

Can you remove wine, tea, coffee and other stains?
Some stains can be permanent and we can't make any guarantees, but we always achieve far better results than attempting home removal. The sooner a stain is treated professionally, the better — we consistently get the best results when we treat it before anyone else tries.
Can pet odours and urine be removed?
Yes. Our deodoriser solution deals with most pet odours. We also use professional spotters specifically designed for the removal of urine — these are far more effective than consumer products. Ask about our urine/odour neutraliser add-on when booking.

General

How often should I have my carpets cleaned?
Cleaning frequency depends on occupants, pets, children and smokers. On average, we recommend professional cleaning every six months. High-traffic areas and homes with pets may benefit from more frequent cleaning.
Are you insured?
Yes, we hold full public liability cover including Treatment Risk and Fidelity Risk as standard. All work carried out by our technicians is fully insured.
Do you cover my area?
We cover London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Surrey and surrounding areas. Check our Areas page or call us to confirm coverage for your postcode. We can usually tell you instantly over the phone.
